ScreenshotSecurity Guard is an illicit anti-spyware application that uses misleading activities to trick computer users out of money. Security Guard, like other rogue anti-spyware programs from the FakeScanti family, uses vicious tactics to make computer users think that their system is infected with a multitude of parasites and Security Guard, the full purchased application, is supposedly their only hope. Little do users know, Security Guard is not able to detect or remove any of the threats that show up in its scan results.

SecurityGuard is somewhat similar to other rogues from the FakeVimes family in the way that its user interface is setup. These applications are bogus security programs that should never be trusted. It is recommended that computer users utilize a reputable spyware detection tool detect and remove the Security Guard program completely and safely.
