Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

Safe PC Cleaner is a rogue system cleaner – a program that pretends to remove 'junk' files and data from your computer, when Safe PC Cleaner actually is designed to create fraudulent scanner results to force you to purchase a registered version of its software. With strong similarities to previous but unrelated rogue system cleaners, Safe PC Cleaner also may engage in such activities as generating fake pop-up alerts, blocking other programs or changing your system settings in ways that impact your PC's security negatively. SpywareRemove.com malware experts always recommend uninstalling Safe PC Cleaner as soon as Safe PC Cleaner is seen, and reliable anti-malware applications should be able to make sure that all of Safe PC Cleaner's components are removed as cleanly as possible.
Everything that's Less Than Safe About Safe PC Cleaner
Safe PC Cleaner identifies itself as a system cleaner that analyzes temporary data like cookies and deletes unnecessary information for the purpose of optimizing your PC's performance, but Safe PC Cleaner actually doesn't have any functions that would allow Safe PC Cleaner to do this. Rather than being a genuine system cleaner, Safe PC Cleaner is scamware that provides fake information about your computer's level of optimization and related issues. This information is designed to entice you into purchasing a full version of Safe PC Cleaner to remove all of the problems that Safe PC Cleaner claims to detect, which SpywareRemove.com malware experts, quite naturally, warn against as a frivolous purchase that can expose your confidential financial information to criminals.
Safe PC Cleaner also may take actions that affect your ability to use other applications, especially security-related ones that could provide some assistance with detecting or removing Safe PC Cleaner. Typically, SpywareRemove.com malware researchers encourage using Safe Mode to deal with similar issues that are caused by low-level threats such as a Safe PC Cleaner infection.
Clearing the Air About Safe PC Cleaner and Securebit
As a result of some of the naming conventions that its files may use, Safe PC Cleaner also is sometimes referred to as Securebit Safe PC Cleaner. However, Safe PC Cleaner shouldn't be confused with any of the various legitimate companies that use the Securebit brand name. Even more confusingly than that, SpywareRemove.com malware researchers also have identified a separate scamware program Securebit Technologies) that is a slightly different kind of rogue software: a rogue anti-malware scanner.
In terms of its fake system-cleaning functions, Safe PC Cleaner also is unrelated to the following programs, despite being similar to them in its features: Repair Registry 2008, Real Registry Cleaner and Perfect Optimizer. All of these programs can be removed by similar methods enabled by appropriate anti-malware products, and SpywareRemove.com malware experts recommend deleting Safe PC Cleaner through these means as soon as it's possible.
