Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

Cyber Security is a rogue anti-spyware application that uses misleading notifications and fabricated system scans to scare users into purchasing a full version of Cyber Security. Cyber Security was found to come from the same makers of other rogues such as Total Security 2009 and System Security 2009.
Cyber Security is not an effective security application for any computer. Despite the many notifications and system scan results from Cyber Security, it cannot effectively detect or remove computer parasites.

Cyber Security VIRUS came into my computer as a pop-up. I can't get rid of it. It's also gotten into the Control Panel and when I highlite it and click to remove it --- it simply doesn't
remove. just flashes and stays right on. I can't get rid of this low-life parasitic scum. What's
with this type of sick and insane inhuman bastards?
I cannot remove the Cyber Security from the Add/Remove. It has downloaded itself on my computer and I\'m unable to get it removed.
ive tried to get rid of it through add or remove programs and all it does is put me on the cyber security page and it wont let me delete it what do i do
I just wanted to thank you for the information you posted. Cyber Security was installed by my wife the other day because she said that we had viruses. I was so bothered by the popups and constant reminder popups, I knew right away what she had let in to our computer. Anyway, I tried to uninstall the program, but it wouldn't let me and kept poping up a screen to enter my activation key. (meaning pay for the program) I couldn't uninstall it. Well I did what you guys said to do and it looks like everything is fine now. I am going to restart my computer and I guess we will see if the popups still happen, but I am hopeful. Thanks for your information.
I paid for this crap and they are trashing my computer. how do i get rid of it easily? and get my money back as they don"t publish their number to contact them.
I hate people who do this to, but who do you report them to in order to get positive results and have their ability to do buisness removed, albeit temporaryly.
would you removed cyber from my comuper
what do you mean about reboot?
reboot as in just restarting the computer or does it delete all my hardware. ?
PLEASE REMOVE CYBER SECURITY
The instructions for removal were great !! Thank you so much. The additional details you gave were easy to follow and the screen shots were very helpful.
If that is too difficult, I suggest doing what I did and call Microsoft toll free at 1-800-936-5700 and ask for the PCCC section. They took an hor and a half to get the damn Cyber security of my \\\'chine and they are a wealth of knowledge. They should be the only thing they do all day is help folks get rid of the fake Trojan. The guy told me that the Trojon is so serious that it is all they can do to keep up with it. He also told me that the first time you are infected with it that you can get rid og it once by doing a system restore but that the new version will not allow you to get rid of it a second time (it cleverly keeps your \\\'chine from saving restore points. Just FWIW..
Best,
Rod
I can not believe I fell for it

Cyber Security just took over my PC. I was surfing the web & bam,,, it poped up and said i had many viruses. It was exactly like the photo on here. It wont let me uninstall it. How can i get all of this off my new PC? I have never seen anything like this. I have Norton 360 and it didnt catch this. Im so mad they can do this to my PC. Everyone beware of this!!
This Cyber Security downloaded onto my computer from accessing a website that says it's requires this software for viewing. This software has caused numerous problems and is always interrupting. Do you have software that will eliminate the Cyber Security completely from this computer. If so, I would appreciate any information that you can give.
This works!
This page saved our computer and a whole load of time for my boyfriend who runs a business from home and uses the computer all the time.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
This got us immediately on the right trail for Cyber Security with the process names. Our computer started to function normally after I killed cs.exe. Then I used the page to dismantle all the pieces bit by bit, starting with searching for the executable name, deleting internet hex dumps, the executable and its directory, then moving to the registry to clean out keys relating to this.
Thank you!!!
As a side note, our installation didn't have the complete list of stuff this thing had -- for example nothing named tsc.exe, but we had parts off all lists.
I'm guessing its changed recently. Mother-in-laws comp got infected on 7 nov. ran spyhunter about 10 times. It did get part of the problem but this root kit is a beast. I was also running avast anti virus and ended removing 30 infected files. Went through the process listed above but it didn't really do much... i removed the cs.exe files early on but thats not the problem... the problem is the dll's they must have changed .... or i'm just too novice.. because i can't find them anywhere. With the spyhunter, i almost get it clean and then bang, it starts all over again except without the cs.exe , I think the root of it all with this machine is the fact that there was so much spyware already on it. The first time i ran spyhunter on it, it removed over 500 files related to spyware, and i'm not talking about eroneous cookies either. I threw in the towel and i'm about to reformat and nuke the hdd in the microwave (figure of speech)
Hey I just had that also so just for giggles I tried systerm restore and guess what
IT WORKED
Have tried all the seaches that you have posted about. Did not find. The ones did find cannot be deleted.
Oh it has really messed up my computer all ways pop up to do this or get license but you can not get license. I just want to get rid of it. Thanks
Thanks for your help
