ScreenshotPersonal Guard 2009, otherwise known as PersonalGuard2009, is a fake spyware remover typically sponsored by rogue websites. Once installed onto your computer, it initiates a fake system scan that reports fabricated infection results. You are then prompted to download Personal Guard 2009 in order to combat these nonexistent threats. Personal Guard 2009 then begins running as soon as your Windows starts up, and bombards you with pop-up windows and fraudulent security alerts, scaring you into purchasing and downloading the full version of Personal Guard 2009.
