Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

As another Potentially Unwanted Program that has very limited justifications for the changes VeberGreat makes to your browser, VeberGreat is categorized as adware due to its emphasis on loading third party advertisements. These advertisements, besides being a not unlikely source of attacks against your computer, also may cause performance and Web accessibility problems that malware researchers always consider it best to avoid. Whenever your browser starts showing VeberGreat advertisements, redirects or other symptoms common to a PUP, it's recommended that you feel free to delete VeberGreat with any reasonable anti-adware product that's conveniently available.
Everything that's Not Quite Great About What VeberGreat Does to Your Browser
A simple but effective (for its developers) adware program, VeberGreat makes changes to your Web browser that don't have any advantage for you, but do force you to view additional advertising content. This provides revenue for VeberGreat's developers, who appear to be using software bundles and other indirect installation methods to work around the fact that very few people would install VeberGreat intentionally. VeberGreat may update itself at any time to change any of the features listed here, but malware researchers consider it unlikely that VeberGreat may retract any or all of the following functions:
- VeberGreat pop-up and pop-under windows may load at arbitrary times, displaying advertisements unrelated to any sites that you're browsing.
- VeberGreat may inject banners, keyword hyperlinks and other advertisement content into Web pages that aren't intended to display them. In egregious cases, this even may prevent you from accessing certain types of native Web content.
- VeberGreat may add additional search results, or affiliate links, to the search results of unaffiliated search engines.
- Besides its advertisements, VeberGreat also may make other changes to your browser. Usually, these changes will not attack your online security, but they may cause unintended security issues and may prevent you from blocking VeberGreat's advertisements.
Real Greatness in Surfing the Web Safely
Because incidents where the advertisement networks of adware programs may be compromised and used to attack PCs aren't exactly uncommon, removing VeberGreat, along with all other adware, is considered preferable to ignoring its advertisements or switching to a browser that's unaffected by its changes. For emphasis on the shakiness of VeberGreat's business model, malware analysts also have noted nearly identical adware products that also appear to be from the same developers, despite not referencing each other. Likely relatives of VeberGreat include JoomiWeb, EnhanceTronic, Larparus, BeepieBear and SolteraTop, with more examples potentially forthcoming as research continues.
Detecting and deleting VeberGreat both are circumstances where you should find anti-adware and anti-malware tools to be useful. Unlike threats, VeberGreat doesn't have any direct defenses against being removed by professional security software. However, if you try to use less strenuous methods of uninstalling VeberGreat, it may not remove all of its browser changes, regardless of whether other components of its software are removed. The software bundles most likely to place VeberGreat on your computer in the first place also are easily detected by most competent anti-malware products, providing your PC with a safe last ditch defense to an advertisement-cluttered browser.
