Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.

My Shield Security is a rogue anti-virus program from the same mold as other scamware products from the VirusDoctor family. Like its ancestors that SpywareRemove.com malware experts have also combed through, My Shield Security creates fake warning messages in lieu of possessing real threat-detection features and uses this bad information to ease you into purchasing My Shield Security's activation key. My Shield Security in particular has been observed to be distributed by dropper trojans that are installed by malicious browser add-ons, and the arbitrary presence of My Shield Security on your PC is usually an indicator of other infections, as well. You should remove My Shield Security by using appropriate security software to scan your PC, and if possible, do so in Safe Mode. Until then, My Shield Security may prevent you from using arbitrary programs under the false pretense that this blockade is protecting you from other infections.
