Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

Antivirus Smart Protection may pretend to be a legitimate and independent program, but Antivirus Smart Protection is a mere variant of older types of rogue anti-malware scanners with a new name slapped on top for a fresh marketing effort. Because Antivirus Smart Protection can't provide real information about infections or other issues that may be troubling your PC, there's no motive to purchase the full version of Antivirus Smart Protection, although Antivirus Smart Protection will create a series of incessant warning messages to try to persuade you otherwise. SpywareRemove.com malware researchers recommend that you delete Antivirus Smart Protection with genuine anti-malware software as soon as you notice its presence, although registering Antivirus Smart Protection with a freely circulated code prior to its removal may help to reduce its attacks in the meantime.
Antivirus Smart Protection – Purveyor of Lies About Your PC
Antivirus Smart Protection looks and acts similar to a normal anti-malware scanner, but instead of detecting real dangers to your computer, Antivirus Smart Protection detects fake threats that aren't present at all. This inaccurate detection behavior is just the first step in a scam that's designed to make you spend money on Antivirus Smart Protection, which is never advisable, since scamware companies like Antivirus Smart Protection's own have been known to exploit credit card information to make indefinite amounts of fraudulent charges. Since Antivirus Smart Protection provides strictly inaccurate information, SpywareRemove.com malware experts strongly recommend that you differentiate between Antivirus Smart Protection's fake alerts and real warnings from PC security products.
Antivirus Smart Protection and similar types of rogue anti-malware programs are typically spread by Trojans like Zlob that are embedded in both fake media updates and fake system scanners. Due to this risk, SpywareRemove.com malware research team recommends that you never trust an online scanner or movie player update that isn't from a reputable source – especially if these are delivered through third-party advertisements and other insecure sources.
Why It's Smart to Banish Antivirus Smart Protection ASAP
Antivirus Smart Protection's family of scamware, FakeVimes, also has a reputable for making other attacks along with fake warning messages, including such examples as Privacy Guard Pro, Extra Antivirus, Fast Antivirus 2009, Presto TuneUp, Windows Security Suite, Smart Virus Eliminator, Packed.Generic.245, Volcano Security Suite, Windows Enterprise Suite, Enterprise Suite, Additional Guard, Live PC Care, PC Live Guard, Live Enterprise Suite, Security Antivirus, My Security Wall, CleanUp Antivirus, Smart Security and PrivacyGuard Pro 2.0. Antivirus Smart Protection and its clones are also likely to launch themselves automatically without any way to disable this function, use simulated scans to present fake results about infections on your PC, create trash files for nonexistent PC threats, redirect your web browser away from PC security sites and block popular brands of PC security programs. Over a prolonged period of time, the reduced security from an Antivirus Smart Protection-infected PC can be a serious threat that allows other attacks to cripple your computer, and hence, removing Antivirus Smart Protection should always be done as quickly as possible.
However, SpywareRemove.com malware researchers recommend that you disable Antivirus Smart Protection before removing Antivirus Smart Protection with an appropriate anti-malware scanner. For Windows users, common methods of accomplishing this include booting into Safe Mode or booting directly to the Command Prompt (bypassing Windows, and Antivirus Smart Protection's startup routine, in the process). You may also want to use the free code 'U2FD-S2LA-H4KA-UEPB' to register Antivirus Smart Protection, not to use Antivirus Smart Protection, but simply to cause Antivirus Smart Protection to reduce its attacks to manageable levels.
