Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

Lucky Leap is an adware program that displays advertisements while claiming to enhance your ability to find good purchases online, in a similar vein as Savepath Deals, Super Back-Up Ads, Savings Hero or Coupon Buddy. Like these similar adware programs, Lucky Leap does not provide any significant advantages to your PC's Web-browsing experience and may endanger it by providing links to potentially unsafe Web content. SpywareRemove.com malware analysts recommend removing Lucky Leap as soon after its installation as possible, although you may need to use anti-malware tools to be certain of deleting all of the unwanted browser modifications related to Lucky Leap.
Taking a Leap of Faith in the Wrong Direction
Lucky Leap is marketed as an online shopping assistant that helps you hone in on bargain prices and related shopping targets – all of which Lucky Leap ostensibly provides by using methods that are more similar to those of adware than the features of a beneficial application. Lucky Leap's browser changes include modifying your search and homepage settings, displaying third party advertisements that are not always relevant to Lucky Leap's stated purpose as a shopping assistant and monitoring your online habits so that Lucky Leap can transfer the information to third parties (for 'advertisement relevance and other purposes,' as noted in the EULA). Currently SpywareRemove.com malware experts have not found Lucky Leap distributing malicious Web advertisements, but this small fact is perhaps the only good thing among Lucky Leap's various drawbacks.
Lucky Leap claims that Lucky Leap can be uninstalled through the normal Windows software-uninstalling interface, but SpywareRemove.com malware researchers have noted that many aspects of a Lucky Leap installation will not uninstall voluntarily. Since Lucky Leap affects multiple browsers without any discrimination or regard for their individual settings, this makes Lucky Leap a potential hindrance to your Web-browsing experience no matter how you try to browse the Web
Recovering from the Misfortune of Trusting Lucky Leap
Considering its entirely-expected stubbornness about removing itself, taking the initiative to remove Lucky Leap with anti-malware utilities is strongly recommended by SpywareRemove.com malware researchers. Keeping all Web browsers closed during the disinfection routine, using Safe Mode to disable interfering PC threats and updating your anti-malware scanner prior to a scan all are recommended secondary tactics for deleting Lucky Leap safely and thoroughly. Outdated anti-malware programs may experience problems with detecting Lucky Leap as adware.
Lucky Leap's advertisements usually should not be interacted with, since such advertisements often are used as infection vectors that spread other malware, particularly rogue anti-virus software and similar scamware. Nonetheless, Lucky Leap is not classified as a particularly extensive danger to either your PC's security or the privacy of any information kept on your PC.
Use SpyHunter to Detect and Remove PC Threats
If you are concerned that malware or PC threats similar to Adware.Lucky Leap may have infected your computer, we recommend you start an in-depth system scan with SpyHunter. SpyHunter is an advanced malware protection and remediation application that offers subscribers a comprehensive method for protecting PCs from malware, in addition to providing one-on-one technical support service.
