Mezzia is a Trojan downloader related to Virtumonde. Mezzia installs itself through browser exploits, or possibly bundled with other malware, and will download and execute arbitrary code from the web. Trojan.Mezzia will generate large amounts of obtrusive popup advertising, and can be extremely difficult to manually remove.
