Trojan-Spy.Win32.GreenScreen, also known as Spy.Win32.GreenScreen, is a trojan name used in a fake alert message designed to push you into purchasing rogue anti-spyware programs such as Internet Antivirus, AntiSpywareMaster, AntivirusMaster, AV Master, Antivirus 2008, Antivirus XP 2008, Ultimate Antivirus 2008, Antivirus 2009, XPAntivirus 2009.
Trojan-Spy.Win32.GreenScreen may have come bundled in a video codec download such as Video ActiveX Codec. Once you're infected, Trojan-Spy.Win32.GreenScreen fake alert message states that your computer is infected with spyware. If you click on the message, you'll be offered to run a fake computer scan with a rogue anti-spyware trial program. The rogue anti-spyware program may offer you to buy the full version of the program to remove the supposed infections.
