Win32.Agent

Win32.Agent is an adware trojan program that downloads unwanted software. When Win32.Agent launches, it copies itself to %WINDIR%\System32 under a random name and it will launch each time Windows is rebooted on the user's computer.

    Hello, In: Step 2 : Use Windows Task Manager to Remove Win32.Agent Processes, -> Click on the "Image Name" button to search for "Win32.Agent" process by name. Sorry, but i cannot find this Button in my Windows XP Task Manager. Could you please tell me where to find this "Search-Button". Thanks, Martin.

    "Image Name" is the heading of process list under "Processes" in the task manager. You can click on it to sort the processes alphabetically.

    You have to be on the right Task Manager tab. In Vista it's the "Processes" tab. Don't remember what it's called in XP, but probably a similar name.

    I cannot get rid of winnt32.dll - pls help i use avg 7.5 - it says that virus has been erradicated but on searching the file still exists. ths
