Although WORM_DORKBOT.SME includes the same capabilities of other versions of Dorkbot, WORM_DORKBOT.SME also boasts a new-found support for distributing itself through multiple instant messenger clients, such as Digsby, Quiet Internet Pager and Imo. Malicious links that are obscured through truncation are sent out by WORM_DORKBOT.SME to any accessible contacts on an infected PC, allowing WORM_DORKBOT.SME to infect a large numbers of computers through instant messages.
