Wise Mac Care

Wise Mac Care is a legitimate application that promises to help users take care of the health and performance of their macOS computer by helping them get rid of junk files, trash, logs and other unnecessary data. While the Wise Mac Care does have these features, users who install it may be experiencing some unwanted side effects – for example, Wise Mac Care may constantly bombard them with pop-ups and reminders to purchase a full license, which will unlock the software suite's full potential.

If you try to use Wise Mac Care you will see a report saying how much space you can free up – however, attempting to complete the task will result in Wise Mac Care prompting you to purchase a license. It is not recommended to pay for this product, as it may be propagated via deceptive methods, and it does not allow its users to try out its features for free.

Wise Mac Care is not threatening, but you should remove it if you do not plan on using its services, definitely. You can get rid of it by dragging it to the trash bin from the Finder -> Applications menu, or by running a macOS security tool capable of dealing with Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUPs).
