The MapMyWayFree Toolbar is a browser add-on offered by Mindspark Interactive Network. As the name fo the toolbar suggests, it is meant to provide users with access to online maps that can be used for all-purpose kinds – to get driving directions, discover new cities or locate nearby points of interests, shops, coffee shops and other locations. While all of this might sound useful, there are countless online map services that can provide the same set of features without asking you to install 3rd-party applications. Another reason why you might want to stay away from the MapMyWayFree Toolbar, in particular, is because the installation of this extension always requires you to accept to authorize the utility to replace your Web browser's new tab page. While changes of this sort are not risky, they can be rather annoying since they force you to use a Web page that you might not be used to.

The page that the MapMyWayFree Toolbar promotes is hosted by MyWay.com, one of Mindspark's infamous associates. The exact version that the users of the toolbar will see is found at https://hp.myway.com/mapmywayfree/ttab02chr/index.html, and it hosts a simple search field accompanied by quick links to online map services. All of this content is available publicly, and it can be accessed without installing 3rd-party add-ons like the Mindspark's product.

If you installed the MapMyWayFree Toolbar and you wish to remove it from your PC to revert the changes it made, then we advise you to do this with the help of a suitable PC security product that can ensure the full removal of this Potentially Unwanted Program's files.
