Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

The 'MagicMinecraft' Screenlocker is an annoying program that may be distributed as a free version of Minecraft, a game that is already free to download and play. The fake free Minecraft version may be hosted on low-quality websites, and users who are unlucky to download the infected variant may end up launching the 'MagicMinecraft' Screenlocker on their computers. The good news is that while this program may look scary at first, it doesn't do anything that can harm your computer. However, as soon as it is launched, it displays a lock screen that may irritate users by preventing them from accessing any of their Windows features, as well as from opening any other programs unless the lock screen is removed. The lock screen tells users that they need to enter an unlock code and that each time they enter an unlock code that does not work, the threat will delete a random file on their computers.
Although the sudden appearance of the 'MagicMinecraft' Screenlocker may shock some users, we assure you that this threat does not feature any code that allows it to delete your computer's files, or to cause any harm. The only thing it does is to scare users into thinking that there is something wrong with their computers. It is likely that the 'MagicMinecraft' Screenlocker may be an unfinished variant because its author has not provided details on how users can acquire the unlock code they need to restore access to their computers. Of course, this also may mean that the 'MagicMinecraft' Screenlocker was made as a joke, and its author never planned to make money out of his corrupted application. Regardless of the author's idea, it goes without saying that the 'MagicMinecraft' Screenlocker is an annoying application, and encountering it for the first time may be stressful.
The good news is that the unlock code that the 'MagicMinecraft' Screenlocker prompts users to enter is hard-coded in the application's source code. Malware researchers have already managed to exfiltrate this much-needed information, and they state that victims of the 'MagicMinecraft' Screenlocker can resolve the annoying problem by entering '62861094725560' as the unlock code. Keep in mind that although this may solve the issue, it is still recommended to run an anti-malware scanner just to be sure that the 'MagicMinecraft' Screenlocker didn't bring any other threatening programs along with it.
