Apart from displaying annoying advertisements in your Web browser, First Freebies also may work in the background to collect information about your Web browsing habits and likenesses.
Although the gathered data is anonymous, allowing First Freebies to perform these actions is still a major privacy concern that should be taken care of. The First Freebies ads may appear in an overlay that shows up on top of the websites the users browse, so there's a high chance that some of the advertisements this extension displays may prevent users from viewing certain sections of the websites they visit. Often, the installation of the First Freebies adware may happen without the user's knowledge because this program may use deceptive methods whose purpose is to trick users into agreeing to install it unknowingly.
