Alpha Search

Alpha Search is a misleading browser extension whose installer may bring unwanted changes to your Web browser's behavior and configuration. Users who install Alpha Search may experience unwanted redirects to websites that they have not seen before.

One of the most common changes linked to Alpha Search's installation is having your default new tab page and search engine set to Alphasearch.co. This is not an unsafe change, but it may worsen your Web browsing and Web searching sessions significantly.

Alpha Search does not have redeemable features, and it is considered a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP). The good news is that removing Alpha Search and reverting the changes it brought is not that difficult to do. Users need to run a suitable PC security tool that is capable of exterminating PUPs.
