Licosearch.com
Licosearch.com is a search redirect virus or browser hijacker that redirects search queries of Internet users. Licosearch.com is commonly downloaded and installed onto your computer system through a browser exploit. Licosearch.com is better known as proxy or DNS hijacker that redirects search engine searches to websites that include spam advertisements. Licosearch.com is commonly installed together with a rootkit program which can ease remote control of the infected PC. Once active, Licosearch.com will add entries to the registry and redirect Google and Yahoo to Licosearch.com undesired search web page.
