Easy Scan

Posted: December 30, 2010

Easy Scan (EasyScan) is a fake PC optimization application. Easy Scan is believed to have been created by the same cybercrooks that developed and marketed the fake optimization programs known as Full Scan and HDD Tools. Easy Scan comes off as a program that will detect and resolve performance hindering issues on your PC. The tasks that Easy Scan claims to perform range from detecting hard drive errors to defragmenting the hard drive. Easy Scan actually does none of this. Instead, Easy Scan is offered for a certain price to computer users which will only result in the download of a bogus full-edition of Easy Scan which serves no good purpose.
