Worm Britney is a simple Internet spyware, written in Visual Basic Script language. It spreads by e-mail in messages with infected attachments and through IRC channels. The worm requires computer component ActiveX to work. If it is enabled, Britney runs spreading routine. It uses Microsoft Outlook mail application and mIRC chat client to distribute itself to other users.
