Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

XP Antivirus Pro 2013 has pretenses of being some of the newest anti-virus software for a relatively old version of Windows, but isn't able to follow through on its claims of detecting or removing malicious programs. Due to XP Antivirus Pro 2013 being confirmed as a new spinoff of FakeRean's branch, SpywareRemove.com malware researchers warn that XP Antivirus Pro 2013 may be capable of blocking programs, redirecting your browser to deceptive error pages or even damaging your system's security settings. Given XP Antivirus Pro 2013's nature as both a rogue anti-virus program and an actual security hazard, deleting XP Antivirus Pro 2013 should be considered as something you must do immediately after getting your hands on a real anti-virus program.
All the Unprofessional Anti-Virus Antics of XP Antivirus Pro 2013
WinPC Defender-based infections like XP Antivirus Pro 2013 tend to be installed through malicious website scripts or fake online scanners that pretend to detect attacks against your computer. No matter how XP Antivirus Pro 2013 ended up on your hard drive, XP Antivirus Pro 2013 will launch automatically and display a fairly wide range of fake system alerts that announce attacks and infections that actually aren't happening. XP Antivirus Pro 2013's pop-ups imitate the format of other security programs, including general Windows alerts, although the threats that they warn victims about (such as theft of Registry information) may be unlikely.
Other symptoms of an XP Antivirus Pro 2013 infection include system scans with inaccurate results, error pages that displace normal websites ( SpywareRemove.com malware researchers have found that this usually is due to proxy server-based browser hijack attacks) and error messages that appear to be blocking completely unrelated applications. The latter especially includes basic Windows utilities like Task Manager.
While XP Antivirus Pro 2013 tries to make it look like the only solutions that can save your computer from numerous attacks involve spending your money on XP Antivirus Pro 2013's registration key, SpywareRemove.com malware experts recommend against buying XP Antivirus Pro 2013 or any other rogue anti-malware program from the FakeRean family. Since XP Antivirus Pro 2013 isn't able to detect or block real PC threats, purchasing XP Antivirus Pro 2013 always should be considered a self-destructive act – both in terms of finances and your computer's safety.
Why XP Antivirus Pro 2013's Problems Aren't Anything to Shrug Aside
As a result of XP Antivirus Pro 2013's many attacks, XP Antivirus Pro 2013-infected PCs are likely to suffer from heavily mitigated security and privacy. SpywareRemove.com malware researchers have pointed out the following weak points as good reasons to remove XP Antivirus Pro 2013 as soon as it's feasible:
- Blocked access to security programs will prevent you from detecting actual malware (like XP Antivirus Pro 2013) or guarding your PC against future attacks.
- Restricted website access will prevent you from finding appropriate PC security information, professional help or available software for disinfecting your computer.
- Undesirable changes to your Registry and your browser will prevent your firewall and other security features from alerting you to potential attacks.
While XP Antivirus Pro 2013 will not respond to normal methods of removing software, most prominent brands of anti-malware software should be able to remove XP Antivirus Pro 2013 and other members of FakeRean. SpywareRemove.com malware analysts also warn potential victims to be just as wary of XP Antivirus Pro 2013's relatives, such as Ultimate Defender, SystemDefender, IE Defender, Advanced XP Defender, XP Defender, WinDefender2008, PCTotalDefender, PC Defender 2008, Personal Defender 2009, WinDefender 2009, Perfect Defender 2009, Total Defender, Malware Defender 2009, WinPC Defender, PC Privacy Defender, Smart Defender Pro, Rogue.UltimateDefender, FraudTool.LastDefender.b and Security Defender Pro 2015.
