XP Police Antivirus Removal Guide
XP Police Antivirus Description
XP Police Antivirus is a rogue anti-spyware program that is often downloaded and installed without user knowledge or consent by a Trojan popularly known as Zlob, which usually found in fake video codecs, or through browser security holes. You may have also downloaded XP Police Antivirus from a rogue website thinking it would remove your spyware threats. Zlob or its variants may pop up fake notifications to make you believe that your computer is infected with spyware. These fake notifications may appear harmless because they're designed to look similar to the messages issued by Windows Security Center. XP Police Antivirus is associated with Antivirus 2009, Pro AntiSpyware 2009, and MS Antivirus 2009.
XP Police Antivirus launches on Windows startup and may generate large numbers of popup adverts. XP Police Antivirus will also display notifications of imaginary security risks in its attempts to get the user to purchase the full version.
