Backdoor.IRCBot is a Trojan backdoor that uses the MS06-040 vulnerability to propagate itself throughout a network. Backdoor.IRCBot attempts to connect to IRC through which he would receive commands from a remote host. Then the remote hacker may instruct Backdoor.IRCBot to record all the keystrokes that you type, to launch denial of service attacks, or send spam emails.
