Backdoor.Ashley Description

RAT means Remote Administration Tool. It is a application, created for illegal remote accessing and controlling of other people's PCs. This RAT is a threat for all IRC users, because it has the "worm" ability. It means that this application will try to copy itself to any PC, which is not protected well enough. "Worms" usually don't insert themselves in to files, they usually try to replace them. It also has a "downloader" ability. Once the machine is infected, the virus will download a bigger trojan. The author is Nexzus. The virus was written in Visual Basic. Several versions appeared from October, 2000 to September, 200
