BackWeb is software that automatically updates your computer. There are two different versions of BackWeb. One is used by computer manufacturers to connect to your computer and retrieve non-personal data which they use to make sure your system is up to date. The other version, BackWeb Lite, may launch pop-up advertisements and install unknown software without your authorization.
