AntiSpywareApp, also known as Anti Spyware App, is a rogue anti-spyware program usually installed by a Trojan Zlob or Vundo. You may have downloaded and installed AntiSpywareApp from a rogue website thinking it was a legitimate software. In order to promote AntiSpywareApp licensed version, AntiSpywareApp uses unethical mechanisms to make you believe your computer system is flooded with spyware and then offers you the rogue product to remove the supposed spyware infections.
AntiSpywareApp is able to generate a fake system scan and scan results, as well as popups and fake system notifications informing you about the fake spyware infections. AntiSpywareApp is NOT able to detect nor remove any spyware found in your computer system. AntiSpywareApp only does this in an attempt to persuade you into buying AntiSpywareApp's full version. AntiSpywareApp may cause system slowdowns and may endanger privacy.
