A RAT application is a type of malware, designed for controlling other people's PCs remotely. The hacker tries to infect the victim’s machine with a "server" application. It is usually performed via the e-mail or File and Print Sharing. The functions of a RAT can vary, depending on the needs of the hacker. Another version from the Alicia virus family. Several bugs were fixed, raising the chance of infection even more. Originated in February 2002.
