The application collects some general information about the user's web browser and operating computer, records addresses of visited web sites and logs PC Internet address. Nevertheless, Alexa Toolbar doesn't provide gathered data to third parties and uses it mostly for demographics and statistics. Alexa Toolbar IS NOT classified as adware or malware of any kind.
